Introduction to Plants Data Bank in Herbarium

 

This plant database, comprises 2000 plants species determined by the SLUBGH Team. Here, students and others will find detailed information on the provided plants to aid in plant identification.

 

Each plant listed contains both scientific and common names, identifying characteristics, detailed pictures. A plant may also contain ecological, forage value, and habitat information. It should be noted that this is a graphic-intensive database, so pages may take up to a few minutes to load.

 

The Centre for Biodiversity & Conservation Plant Database was conceived by Dr. G. Raza Bhatti & Shireen Soomro. Information and pictures were compiled by Shakeel Ahmed Khaskheli. Website concept and design by Arslan Ahmed I Larik.
